Paysage d'Hiver - Paysage d'Hiver

Translating to "landscapes of winter" in French, Paysage d'Hiver is the project of one Tobias Möckl. Most of his work is ambient or distant black metal. This release is purely black metal, and is my favorite of his. The first song has some amazing musical juxtapositions. Excellent stuff if you can get past the production and song lengths. Get it.

Very cold, distant, and atmospheric black metal from Switzerland. Nimosh (man behind the project) runs Kunsthall Produktionen with Wintherr from Paysage d'Hiver, so it's a must have. Once you get past the production, it's an excellent piece of work.
